Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that a small injury issue has kept Harry Maguire out of Manchester United's fourth-round Carabao Cup tie at Brighton & Hove Albion.

The defender has been an ever-present in the Reds' starting XI since an FA Cup clash with Derby County back in March, a run of 19 games.

Apologies for the sound - it's pouring down! - but Ole has explained the team and why Harry Maguire is missing...

However, the manager explained before the Brighton match that a slight physical problem had prevented him from playing in our second game in five days at the Amex Stadium.
"He’s got a little knock, but he’ll be okay, yeah," said Ole, when questioned by club media before Wednesday night's match.

United welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford on Sunday (4 October) for our third Premier League fixture of the season.

Maguire is yet to miss a single Premier League minute for United since joining from Leicester City in the summer of 2019.
