All attention at Old Trafford turns to cup football for the next two matches, as the latest Emirates FA Cup clash with Reading will be quickly followed by that important Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest. You can order the matchday programmes for both games to be delivered to your door now.

The United Review covers for this season’s domestic cup games have featured brilliant retro designs. The Carabao Cup issues have mirrored a classic 1970s look, while the FA Cup covers have been a throwback to our programmes in 1982/83, 40 years on from our triumphant run in the competition. The forthcoming editions are no different.

McShane warns of Reading's threat

Paul McShane says his former club Reading will be hoping to cause an upset at Old Trafford this evening.

You’ll be well aware that each and every draw in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season has handed the Reds a home tie, and in recognition of that lack of away games in the cups this season - apart from Wednesday's semi-final first leg at The City Ground - the programme for the Reading match has a big feature counting down United’s greatest ever FA Cup away ties.

There’s also an interesting interview with Paul McShane, as the Academy coach is in the perfect position to talk about the game having come through the Reds' ranks, played over 100 games for Reading and also reached the FA Cup final with Hull City.

In next Wednesday’s programme for Forest's visit in the Carabao Cup, we have an exclusive interview with the in-form Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and the issue also has an in-depth look back at the 1992 League Cup final between the Reds of Manchester and Nottingham.

Of course, both programmes are packed full of regulars like the exclusive Erik ten Hag column, insightful analysis of the visitors and loads of fan tales and messages.

You can order either programme here, or if you don’t want to miss another issue in what is set to be an exciting second half of the campaign, why not take out a special 12-issue subscription, saving 25p on every issue and including delivery direct to your door?
