Pogba states United commitment on social media

Saturday 12 December 2020 22:29

Paul Pogba has issued a passionate statement on his Instagram account, reaffirming his commitment to Manchester United.

The France international was back in the side for the 0-0 draw with Manchester City, after coming off the bench to good effect at RB Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek.

That match came a day after his agent Mino Raiola had suggested his client's future lies away from Old Trafford in an interview in the Italian media.

"I've always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my team-mates and the fans," wrote Pogba on Instagram after the City game. "Bla bla is not important.

“The future is far, today is what matters and I am 1000 per cent involved!

"Always strong together... all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change.

“When you don't know what's going on inside, don't talk.

“#SpeakTheTruthOrRemainSilent

“#United

“#talktothehand."

Pogba scored his first Premier League goal of the season in the win at West Ham United last weekend and will look to help the Reds pick up another three points on the road in our next outing, Thursday night's trip to Sheffield United.

The midfielder's next assignment after that will be the home game with Leeds United and the last fixture before Christmas is the Carabao Cup quarter-final at Everton, who bounced back to form on Saturday with a 1-0 win over title contenders Chelsea.
