Paul Pogba picked up our Man-of-the-Match award after impressing during Manchester United’s 4-0 victory over Leeds United in Perth.

The France midfielder played an integral role in Mason Greenwood’s opening goal, threading a delightful pass between the lines to create space for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who crossed for the 17-year-old to tap home.

Pogba dictated play from the middle of the park throughout the first half and went close on a couple of occasions himself, most notably when his free-kick curled just wide of Kiko Casilla’s goal.

The World Cup winner was withdrawn after 45 minutes, along with the rest of United’s starters, as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer again opted to refresh his entire side at the break.

Pogba dominated the midfield battle in the first half in Perth and won 45% of your vote as Man of the Match.

Speaking on MUTV, Reds legend Bryan Robson lavished praise on Pogba for his performance and selected him as one of his three nominations for the poll.

"He's got the quality. We know what Paul can do,” the ex-United midfielder added.

“The pass for the first goal was a great pass. He's always looking forward, to get the forwards in.”

On a comfortable evening for the Reds at the Optus Stadium, Pogba took home 45 per cent of supporters’ votes on the official Man Utd app.

That was more than the 36% awarded to Marcus Rashford, who doubled United’s lead on 27 minutes and also hit a post early on.

Substitute Tahith Chong, who came third in the vote with 19%, proved a bright spark on the left-hand side and won the penalty, from which Anthony Martial wrapped up the scoring.

It was our second win in four days in Western Australia, after the 2-0 victory against local side Perth Glory on Saturday.

Our third pre-season game is against Inter Milan in Singapore on Saturday at 12:30 BST. As with all the pre-season games, it will be shown live on MUTV.
