Remembrance Sunday: What's happening around Old Trafford

Friday 08 November 2019 16:40

Manchester United take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League at Old Trafford this coming Sunday (10 November).

With the match falling on Remembrance Sunday, we will be honouring those who have lost their lives in conflicts across the world with a minute’s silence prior to kick-off, which is scheduled for 14:00 GMT.

We would kindly ask all fans to please take their seat early and join both clubs in observing the silence as we remember those who served, and ensure that their sacrifices are not forgotten.

Supporters should also be aware that their travel plans may be impacted by the Remembrance Sunday services and the various parades which will be taking place across Greater Manchester.

There will be a number of localised road closures and bus diversions, including the A56 Chester Road, which will be closed from 10:30 GMT to midday prior to the match.

If you are attending Old Trafford on Sunday, please allow extra time for your journey and plan your route well in advance.
