Who was Man of the Match at Everton?
The battle to be Manchester United's Man of the Match in the 1-0 win at Everton was always going to be a fight between Senne Lammens and Benjamin Sesko.
Lammens, whose performance was described as "bloody brilliant" by Toffees boss David Moyes in his post-match press conference, stood up to a barrage of corners, with the hosts winning 10 of them and crowding the six-yard box in a way designed to maximise the pressure on the keeper.
By coming off the bench to great effect yet again, Sesko supplied the priceless winner with an ice-cool finish past Jordan Pickford, and would have put the result beyond doubt but for a good save by the England no.1.
Lammens, who won the Premier League's star-man award on the night, was also the unanimous choice of our fans, who voted in their thousands in the United App.
The Belgium international pulled way clear of Sesko in the end, polling 63 per cent of the responses.
Sesko, who was only introduced in the 58th minute, managed 19 per cent, which still ensured he was comfortably runner-up.
Matheus Cunha, whose sweeping pass out to the right to Bryan Mbeumo helped create the goal, was in third spot on six per cent.
In fairness, it was very much a team effort on Merseyside as we left our maiden visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium with all three points, to move above Chelsea and close the gap on third-placed Aston Villa to three points.
The Midlanders are in action on Friday night, away to Wolves in a local derby, before we entertain Crystal Palace on Sunday (14:00 GMT kick-off).
This is the third time Senne has picked up our official Man of the Match award in what is becoming an increasingly impressive first season in England.
The 23-year-old was also judged as the top performer on his debut, when keeping a clean sheet against Sunderland, and the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which also took place at Old Trafford.
Congratulations to our no.31, who has rightly been praised in all quarters for his display, which also featured a stunning save to deny ex-Red Michael Keane from long range and getting down to hold a firm drive by Everton substitute Tyrique George.
Thank you to everybody who voted.
