Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Confirmed: United team to face Burnley

Tuesday 12 January 2021 19:15

Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer has announced wholesale changes to his starting XI to face Burnley as the Reds look to go top of the Premier League.

Only defender Eric Bailly retains his place from Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup third-round win over Watford, as the boss makes 10 alterations for the encounter at Turf Moor.

The Ivorian had been a doubt for the game after injuring his neck against the Hornets, but has been given the nod and will start alongside Harry Maguire in the centre of defence.

Ole has shown plenty of attacking intent with his selection as Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani are all involved - the latter is available for the first time since the win over Wolves on 29 December, having completed his three-game domestic ban.
