Thank you, Frontline Heroes

Three Manchester United fans will attend Thursday night’s game against Arsenal at Old Trafford as winners of TeamViewer’s ‘Frontline Heroes’ competition.

In October, the club’s principal sponsor invited fans to nominate those who have contributed special efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, and were simply inundated with inspiring submissions.

The winning heroes were invited to the Arsenal match by former United defender Wes Brown last week, and will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime matchday experience at the Theatre of Dreams.

See how United fans Amanda, Samuel and Robert reacted when Wes Brown informed them of their prize…

TeamViewer’s partnership with the club is all about bringing fans closer, so part of our heroes’ night will be using augmented reality technology running on smart glasses that will enable them to experience parts of matchday as a United player would.

In attendance at the game will be Amanda, a teacher who went that extra mile to deliver learning resources to isolated families who could not access online learning.

Our second hero, Samuel, was immediately placed within the COVID ward at Burnley Hospital upon leaving university, and has worked tirelessly to support those affected by the pandemic.

Our final hero, Robert, fulfilled two essential jobs (as a milkman and delivery driver) that helped to keep his community going, and even went above and beyond to deliver essential goods to elderly customers during his spare time.

Our competition winners will also be joined at the match by a number of other nominees, with tickets gifted by TeamViewer.

Congratulations to all of our Frontline Heroes – we hope you have a fantastic evening cheering on the Reds at Old Trafford.
