What's happening at United this week?

Monday 29 November 2021 14:39

A busy seven-day period awaits for Manchester United with Premier League action returning to Old Trafford.

Arsenal and Crystal Palace visit the Theatre of Dreams, while United Women are also in action in the Women's Super League.

The Under-23s and Under-18s also play, so there is a total of five Reds matches over the next seven days.

As if that's not busy enough, Monday began with the announcement of Ralf Rangnick as United's interim manager until the end of the season.

MONDAY

Rangnick will take over as interim boss in due course, subject to work visa requirements.

That's the big news on Monday but elsewhere a new episode of the UTD Podcast is available. This time, it’s not a former United star behind the microphone but one of the voices of some incredible United moments, in former ITV commentator Clive Tyldesley. The episode will be available on Monday from 17:00 GMT in our Official App before appearing on other streaming platforms on Tuesday.

Happy birthday to United’s all-time appearance maker and 13-time Premier League winner Ryan Giggs, who turns 48 on Monday. The club would also like to wish United Women goalkeeper Sophie Baggaley a very happy 25th birthday.

WEDNESDAY

It’s the day before our match with the Gunners, which only means one thing, the pre-match press conference and as usual you will be able to follow our live stream on MUTV, ManUtd.com and the Official App.

THURSDAY

It’s matchday as United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford for a 20:15 GMT kick-off under the floodlights. The encounter will be available to watch live on Amazon Prime Video in the UK - subscribe here.

If you’re coming to the game, make sure to arrive early and meet Patrice Evra who will be signing copies of his new book in the Megastore from 15:00 GMT. They’d make a perfect Christmas present, and there’s plenty more great gifts available throughout the store, too, so you can box off everyone off your list.

FRIDAY

The Megastore has a busy week this week, with another club legend in attendance the very next day. Captain Marvel himself, Bryan Robson will be in store on Friday from 16:00 GMT signing copies of the DVD for his new film, Robbo. Combine your legend-meeting afternoon with a trip to the Museum & Stadium Tour, where you can see the very spot where Bryan signed for United 40 years ago, ending the tour in the Megastore.
