Tottenham announce a change in management
Manchester United’s upcoming opponents Tottenham Hotspur have announced a change in management ahead of Thursday’s crucial Premier League match.
The North London club parted company with their last permanent boss Antonio Conte back in March and, at that time, they put former assistant Cristian Stellini in charge on a short-term basis.
After one win, one draw and two defeats - including the chastening 6-1 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday - Tottenham have now confirmed another change in their leadership structure.
A statement on their official website has tonight reported that Stellini has left the club along with his coaching staff. Former Spurs player Ryan Mason is now their head coach with immediate effect.

“We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the board, the coaches and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine.
“Cristian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff.
“Ryan Mason will take over head coach duties with immediate effect. Ryan knows the club and the players well. We shall update further on his coaching staff in due course.
“I met with the player committee today - the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season. We are all clear we need to deliver performances which earn your amazing support. COYS, Daniel.”
