Training update from Carrington
Harry Maguire has trained with the Manchester United squad, ahead of his potential return from suspension on Monday.
The England international was handed an additional one-match ban following his red card against Bournemouth, so missed the brilliant 1-0 win at Chelsea last Saturday, as well as the home loss to Leeds United.
As he was filmed by our cameras in the Carrington sunshine on Thursday morning, it is anticipated the centre-back will make his 600th club appearance of his career against Brentford, in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
Maguire is poised to also make his first outing since signing a new contract, to extend his stay with the Reds.
There was no sight of Leny Yoro, though, after he missed the trip to Stamford Bridge.
Head coach Michael Carrick said he hoped the France Under-21 defender would not be sidelined for long, after suffering a minor injury.
Ayden Heaven and Noussair Mazraoui formed the central defensive partnership in the capital, and helped keep a clean sheet.
Matheus Cunha was not involved, as he is on a recovery day.
Youngsters such as Shea Lacey, Jack Moorhouse and Sonny Aljofree were also part of the group, preparing for the 20:00 BST kick-off.
Carrick is due to hold his pre-match press conference later on Thursday, which will cover in full across our official club channels.
