Friendly | Rangers Academy | Scorers: Kelly 47, Wilson 78 | Levitt 10, Elanga 63,81

Manchester United's youngsters played a friendly against the Rangers Academy on Wednesday, securing a 3-2 win in an entertaining game.

D'Mani Mellor had an early effort ruled out for offside before Dylan Levitt headed the Reds in front with 10 minutes on the clock. Andrew Dallas hit the bar in response but United maintained the lead into the interval.

Two minutes after the break, Stephen Kelly levelled matters, only for the visitors to respond well, with Mellor and Levitt unlucky not to regain the lead. Anthony Elanga, on for Dion McGhee, scored within two minutes after his entrance as a substitute from a corner, only for Aidan Wilson to again equalise for the Gers.

Elanga smacked in the winner from outside the box with nine minutes remaining, registering his second of the game, to seal victory, although the main priority of the trip was to further the teenagers' experience against different opposition.
