United celebrate Largie Ramazani's goal against West Brom.

Youngsters' Lincoln clash postponed

Wednesday 14 August 2019 13:12

Manchester United need to rearrange our EFL Trophy tie at Lincoln City, while two home dates in Premier League 2 have been confirmed for the Under-23s.

United's second game in the newly rebranded Leasing.com Trophy was due to be staged at Sincil Bank on 27 August but the Imps' progress in the Carabao Cup, beating Huddersfield Town to set up a home tie with Premier League side Everton in the second round, has forced a postponement.

A new date for the clash will be announced in due course.

Under-23s lead coach Neil Wood has made a great start to life in charge of the side.

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed the home games against Fulham (13 September) and Norwich City (27 September) will kick off at 19:00 BST.

Entry is free for all spectators for both fixtures.

United beat Rotherham 2-0 in our opening game in the Leasing.com Trophy and the group is completed by Doncaster Rovers. After beating West Brom 5-0 in the first Premier League 2 match of the campaign, we entertain Reading on Friday night, live on MUTV.
