The Under-23s faced Benfica's B team in a friendly after an extensive training camp in the Algarve.

Neil Wood's side are currently in second place in the Division 2 table and are not due to be in league action again until Monday 2 March, when Stoke City provide the opposition at the Bet365 Stadium.

However, the youngsters will be taking on Club Brugge in a friendly on 20 February, at FC Heist's ground, the same day Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's senior team tackle the Belgian leaders in the Europa League.

The club has confirmed details for our FA Youth Cup quarter-final against Wigan Athletic, which will be staged at Old Trafford on Friday 28 February (19:00 GMT kick-off).
