United youngsters await Leasing.com Trophy draw
Manchester United will discover our next opponents in the Leasing.com Trophy when the draw is made on Saturday afternoon around 14:00 GMT.
Although Neil Wood's side should be afforded a home tie as reward for winning our group, following victories on the road at Rotherham United, Lincoln City and Doncaster Rovers, both United and Manchester City have received dispensation to play the next game away as it will help further the youngsters' education.
Due to the continued regionalisation of the tournament, the Reds already know the draw will pit us against one of only four potential opponents - Scunthorpe United, Fleetwood Town, Tranmere Rovers or Shrewsbury Town.
There are 32 teams left in the hunt for a place at Wembley in the final on Sunday 5 April 2020.
The knockout ties are scheduled to be played in the week commencing 2 December.
As a result, the Premier League 2 home clash with West Brom has already been switched from Friday 6 December to the following Monday.
