United for a High Five: Win a golf day with Giggsy!

Through the Foundation’s ‘United for a High Five’ raffle, one lucky Red can win the opportunity to attend Ryan Giggs’s golf day in 2021 and, along with two friends, enjoy an afternoon on the course with a United legend.

As part of the Foundation’s continued efforts to support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘United for a High Five’ raffle encourages fans to take just five minutes to donate at least £5 to be in with a chance of winning five prizes released over five days.

The raffle was launched on Monday, 1 June, and for 24 hours you were able to win a fantastic experience - a virtual hangout with Reds captain Harry Maguire.

An invitation to Giggsy’s golf day is the prize today (Tuesday) and our all-time record appearance holder is thrilled to help such a worthy cause.

“The Foundation is very important as it supports families who need it the most,” said Ryan. “Obviously it was a big success last year with the Treble Reunion match, raising over £1 million for the Foundation. That was amazing, and it’s great that the money we did raise is now being put to good use in what is obviously a difficult time, with difficult circumstances.

“So to be able to give underprivileged families support - through money for schools, activity packs and other help - when they usually may struggle, and even more so with COVID-19, it’s great to do our bit.

“Being able to help families who need it, especially in the local community, is great. Manchester United is a worldwide brand and we help charities all around the world, but also it’s important to help in your local community and help local children and families.

“So now it’s a chance for you, our fans, to contribute with Manchester United Foundation,” he continued. “There are lot of great raffle prizes and fantastic things you can win if you enter the raffle.

“I’m giving away a place at my golf day next year, the Foundation golf day, where you’ll get the chance to play with two friends and a Manchester United legend.
