Jose Mourinho has stuck with the same side who produced one of Manchester United's best performances of the season, against Chelsea on Saturday at Stamford Bridge, for the Champions League clash with Juventus.

The same XI who were held to a 2-2 draw in London, after an agonising stoppage-time Chelsea equaliser, will take on the Italian giants at Old Trafford in the Group H match.

United’s Academy conveyor belt continues with the promotion of Tahith Chong to the Champions League bench. The 18-year-old is named in Mourinho's matchday squad for the first time in a competitive fixture after impressing for the Under-23s recently.

The Curacao-born youngster scored twice at that level in last Friday night's 3-0 win against Sunderland at Old Trafford. Chong played on the Reds' United States tour in the summer, making appearances against Liverpool, Club America and San Jose Earthquakes.

United: De Gea, Young (captain), Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Martial, Lukaku.

Substitutes: Romero, Darmian, Bailly, Pereira, Fred, Herrera, Chong.

Meanwhile, former United star Cristiano Ronaldo is in the Juventus starting line-up selected by Massimiliano Allegri, as he makes his first appearance at Old Trafford since visiting with Real Madrid in 2013.

Juventus: Szczesny, Cancelo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Sandro, Bentancur, Pjanic, Matuidi, Cuadrado, Dybala, Ronaldo.

Substitutes: Perin, De Sciglio, Benatia, Douglas Costa, Barzagli, Kean, Bernardeschi.
