Vote now: Women's Player of the Month
Manchester United Women's first Player of the Month award for 2026 is now upon us, and we need your help picking a winner.
It was an unbeaten month for the Reds to kick off the new calendar year, with wins in the Barclays Women's Super League, Adobe Women's FA Cup and the Subway Women's League Cup.
That success means we're still fighting on four fronts as we look ahead to February, so it's apt that we've selected four players – Phallon Tullis-Joyce, Dominique Janssen, Julia Zigiotti and Elisabeth Terland – for you to choose from for January's award.
Here's a reminder of what the quartet have done this month...
PHALLON TULLIS-JOYCE - 4 apps / 3 clean sheets
Tullis-Joyce started all four of our games throughout January and, impressively, managed to concede just one goal, keeping clean sheets against Arsenal in the WSL and in the League Cup, plus another shut-out against Burnley in the FA Cup.
Our league game against the Gunners was a particular highlight, with the United States international saving all six of the shots on target she faced, earning a point against one of the sides we're battling with for a UEFA Women's Champions League spot.
DOMINIQUE JANSSEN - 4 apps / 1 assist
Our Dutch defender completed 90 minutes in all but one of our January games, in partnership with captain Maya Le Tissier, for the most part, contributing to our strong defensive record over the course of the month.
She was brought off on the hour mark in our FA Cup triumph over Burnley, but not before delivering a pinpoint cross to the head of winter recruit Lea Schuller, who converted the chance for her first United goal.

JULIA ZIGIOTTI - 4 apps / 2 goals
The midfielder opened her Reds account with an arrowed strike against the Clarets in the FA Cup, but wasn't content with just that, adding a spectacular 'Olimpico' goal – netting direct from a corner against Aston Villa in the WSL – to her collection, scoring the first goal in our 4-1 victory in the Midlands.
Known primarily as a hardworking, deeper midfield player, she's shown this month that she also has plenty to offer in attack.

ELISABETH TERLAND - 1 (3) apps / 2 goals
The winter signing of Schuller has allowed Skinner to rotate his strikers across a busy January, but Elisabeth Terland did not waste a minute she was given on the pitch.
Seizing on some loose play at the back from the Gunners in our League Cup semi-final meeting, she took just one touch before dispatching the decisive goal in the tie, sending United to our first-ever final in the competition in the process.
Days later, against Villa, she was brought off the bench in place of Schuller, and restored our lead with a first-time finish, just over 10 minutes later.
