Who is your Player of the Month for February?
The poll to name Manchester United's Player of the Month for February 2022 is now open.
Ralf Rangnick’s side played across three competitions last month and began with a disappointing Emirates FA Cup exit, but bounced back to register a handful of decent results in the Premier League and Champions League.
A 2-0 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion and a classic 4-2 success over rivals Leeds United were the month's obvious highlights, along with a promising last-16 first-leg draw at Atletico Madrid in Spain.
While February came to a close with a frustrating draw at home to Watford, the Reds remain determined to kick on and continue making improvements.
Ralf is all about the team's success, of course, yet there were some individual contributions that deserve recognition and our POTM panel has produced a three-man shortlist for you to choose from...
WHY THEY ARE NOMINATED
Anthony Elanga
Seven appearances, two goals
The 19-year-old’s development under Rangnick continued last month, as he showed great character and determination to overcome some early adversity. Anthony unfortunately missed the decisive spot kick in our penalty-shootout defeat to Middlesbrough, but he didn’t hide away from the challenge of bouncing back.
The forward’s ever-present energy saw him cause problems for the Brighton defence throughout our 2-0 win, and his quick thinking drew a challenge that meant United would play with a man advantage for much of the second half.
The young Swede followed that confidence-boosting showing by scoring important goals in the crunch fixtures with Leeds and Atletico. He was voted our Man of the Match in the latter and retained that trophy after the goalless draw with Watford.
Well played, Anthony. Keep up the good work.
Such a blessing 🙏🏾 https://t.co/v9XRZwAu4Q

Jadon Sancho
Seven appearances, two goals, two assists
February might well be looked back on in years to come as the month when Sancho really announced himself at Old Trafford.
The forward netted his first goals at Old Trafford in back-to-back games against Middlesbrough and Southampton, either side of a lively showing away to Burnley. Another commendable display followed against Brighton before his efforts were rewarded with two assists in our blood-and-thunder victory at Elland Road.
Jadon finished the month by facing his old club Watford at Old Trafford and, although that result was disappointing, there is no doubt the England international performed well and his three Man-of-the-Match awards underline that.
Here's to a bigger and better March.
Disappointed about the result last night but a bittersweet moment getting my first goal at OT.

Raphael Varane
Six appearances, one clean sheet
Injuries unfortunately put a cap on how much we saw of the World Cup winner in 2021, but he has been consistently showing his imperious qualities throughout the second half of the season.
Apart from a sudden bout of illness before the Brighton game, it was a prosperous month for Varane and he was unfortunate not to score his first United goal, after seeing his thumping header against Burnley disallowed for offside.
In the last two matches, our no.19 returned to his former home city of Madrid to help steer the side to a positive first-leg result in the Champions League last 16, before making sure it was a relatively quiet day for David De Gea in Saturday’s stalemate with Watford. We're excited to see Rapha's growing influence going forward.
