When do we play our rivals?

In what will be Ruben Amorim's first full season in charge at Old Trafford, we now know we will begin the new term with a mouthwatering home clash against Arsenal on Sunday 17 August.

But what about the games that really matter most to our loyal supporters? The ones against our biggest rivals: Liverpool, Leeds United and Manchester City.

Well, fans won't have to wait long for a first Manchester derby of the season, with United penned in to face City on or around 13 September, away at the Etihad Stadium.

Everybody will remember our famous victory over Pep Guardiola's side last season, as the Reds scored twice late on to win 2-1, thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad.

As for the reverse fixture against the Blues, that will take place at the Theatre of Dreams next year, on or around 17 January 2026.

Current Premier League champions Liverpool have a rich rivalry with United and our first meeting of the season against Arne Slot's men will be at Anfield, pencilled in for 18 October.

Back in M16, we are scheduled to face the Merseysiders towards the back end of the campaign, on the first weekend in May.

New boys Leeds United are back in England's top flight after their title-winning season which saw them lift the Championship trophy, and are now managed by Daniel Farke.

The Reds have a pretty impressive record against Leeds and our first encounter of the 2025/26 campaign will be away at Elland Road on or around 3 January.

We then host the Whites next year, provisionally 11 April, with our last meeting at Old Trafford resulting in a 2-2 draw back in February 2023.
