Who was Man of the Match against Galatasaray?

Manchester United drew 3-3 with Galatasaray on Wednesday, after a match which saw the pendulum swing back and forth between both sides.

Alejandro Garnacho put us into an early lead with a well-taken goal early on, before Bruno Fernandes doubled the advantage with a stunning long-range finish.

Hakim Ziyech halved the deficit before the break and, after Scott McTominay slid home to make it 3-1, the Moroccan struck for the second time to bring Galatasaray to within one goal of the Reds once more.

Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu levelled for the home side and despite our best efforts, including Bruno striking the post, we couldn't grab the all-important winner.

We ran our customary Man of the Match poll after the final whistle, and one Red stood our among our supporters' picks.

Fernandes gained 43 per cent of the votes from our fans, after gaining a goal and an assist in Istanbul.

His pass for Garnacho's opener was well-timed, giving the Argentinian the chance to finish emphatically past Fernando Muslera.

He then scored a sublime strike from distance, once again signalling the quality he has.

He could have had a second too, taking aim from similar distance in the dying moments, but the ball agonisingly struck the outside of the post and went behind.

Second in the poll was Garnacho, who was a constant menace throughout his time on the pitch thanks to some blistering pace and direct running.

He attracted 21 per cent of the vote, meaning he came runner-up in our poll for the second consecutive game.

Congratulations to Bruno being named our Man of the Match once more this term.
