Who was United's Man of the Match?

Manchester United fans have voted for the Man of the Match in the 1-1 draw with Southampton.

United led at the break, courtesy of Jadon Sancho's first Old Trafford goal in the Premier League, with the winger tapping home from an unselfish pass by his fellow England international Marcus Rashford.

However, the Saints responded soon after half-time when Che Adams was allowed to drift in from the left and fire in a finish off the far post.

Harry Maguire almost came up trumps with a late winner but his header was brilliantly saved by Fraser Forster during a fractious ending to the game.

There were some bright individual performances despite the disappointing nature of the result, which is a blow to our hopes of finishing in the top four.

Sancho came out on top of our poll, with his tally of 51 per cent securing a second successive award after his star-man display at Burnley in midweek.

The winger, who also forced a smart stop out of Forster in the first half, is in the best form of his fledgling United career, according to interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

David De Gea, our reigning Player of the Month, finished in second spot after making some impressive saves, particularly in the opening 45 minutes, with Paul Pogba placed third.

Thank you to everybody who voted.
