Who was our Player of the Match?
Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Aston Villa at Leigh Sports Village as the Reds kept their unbeaten run intact in the Barclays Women's Super League.
The visitors executed a high press in the first half which left the Reds with work to do defensively. Though we came out with fire in our bellies in the second, United struggled to break Villa down and had to settle for a draw.
Despite the team not getting the win they searched for, a number of players stood out in this stalemate and the player who scooped the award put in a solid shift...
Taking 23 per cent of the vote was midfield maestro Ella Toone.
Our number seven recorded United's only shot on target after Geyse entered the action and crossed it to her in the box. She hit it first time but it was well saved by Sabrina D'Angelo.
Phallon Tullis-Joyce narrowly came second in the vote after a solid display between the sticks which saw her make an impressive double save in the first half.
Gabby George placed third, having put in several well-timed tackles to prevent the Villans taking the lead.
In the first half, Chasity Grant looked certain to be through on goal but George tracked back and made a sliding tackle to deny the Villa winger from taking her shot.
Similarly in the second half, she prevented substitute Katie Robinson from scoring as she blocked her shot in the area, helping United to keep a clean sheet.
