WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR DE GEA

ManUtd.com's James Tuck explains why David De Gea deserves your vote for Player of the Month

ManUtd.com’s James Tuck: "It's got to be David De Gea for Player of the Month. I know we say it every month, but he was outstanding again in February. The obvious highlight was that jaw-dropping save against Luis Muriel against Sevilla in the Champions League, which had everybody purring and led to an intriguing debate in the ManUtd.com office about whether he has now surpassed Peter Schmeichel as Uniited's greatest ever goalkeeper. That save, along with several others that he made in Spain, ensured that Sevilla were kept scoreless at home in the Champions League for the first time. David also kept clean sheets against Huddersfield and Newcastle in the league, to earn more praise, yet he just remains so humble and modest, preferring to focus on the team's overall performances. Victor Lindelof has said he gives the defender's confidence to know that David is behind them and that is the thing - he is just so reliable, consistently excellent and is somebody who you expect to deliver every week. For me, he has to be regarded as the greatest goalkeeper in the world and he deserves to be voted United's Player of the Month for February."

WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR MCTOMINAY

ManUtd.com's Mark Froggatt is adamant that Scott McTominay should win the Player of the Month poll

ManUtd.com’s Mark Froggatt: “What a period it has been for Scott. Just a year ago he wasn't even in the first team and, now, he is up for our Player of the Month award and I think he should win it! He began the month against Huddersfield Town at Old Trafford and got roughed up by some seriously physical challenges, but he responded really well to it, showed his maturity to come back strongly. He pushed on through the month and Jose Mourinho put him in the starting XI a lot, in some big games as well: again against Huddersfield in the FA Cup, at Sevilla in what was the biggest game of his career and at home against Chelsea, when he man-marked Eden Hazard out of the game just a few days ago. He's also had a lot of praise from Michael Carrick, who is expected to retire at the end of the season, and Carras told us recently that he predicts Scott will “take his place” in the United squad going forward. So that's why Scott is my man - make sure you vote for him in the poll.”

WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR LUKAKU

ManUtd.com's Filipe Cachada is here to explain why Romelu Lukaku is the man you should vote for

ManUtd.com's Filipe Cachada: “My choice for the trophy is Romelu Lukaku, because he is the main reference in United's attack, he has scored 22 goals this season overall and four in five across February. He won the Man of the Match award twice and bagged three goals against Huddersfield. There are still some people who doubt him, but he has put some very, very good performances in and especially against Chelsea, when he bagged the opening goal and put an excellent cross in for Lingard's headed winner. That game was crucial for United in the bid to finish in the top four, and his display was absolutely superb. The Belgian striker has said it isn't enough either, and that he is planning to improve even more. That's why Romelu Lukaku is my choice for Player of the Month."
