Your one-stop guide to a massive week for United
The minds of football fans everywhere are centred on the FIFA World Cup in Russia, but this is also a big week for Manchester United and there is plenty going on over the next seven days…
MONDAY
Our popular and hard-working wing-back, Ashley Young, celebrates his 33rd birthday alongside his England team-mates at the World Cup in Russia, where the Three Lions are currently preparing for that monumental semi-final against Croatia on Wednesday evening. The respected campaigner has made four starts at the tournament so far and everybody at Old Trafford is buzzing to see him performing so well, notably registering an assist in the 2-0 quarter-final win over Sweden at the weekend. A place in the final would surely be the perfect birthday present.
