Club Overview – Bayern Munich Women
Established in 1970, Bayern Munich Women were a founding member of the Frauen-Bundesliga in 1990. They have won seven German league titles and were twice DFB-Pokal winners. Having won three consecutive league titles, their recent domestic success has translated to a strong UWCL campaign so far as they finished fourth in the league phase with notable victories over the likes of Arsenal and PSG.
Playing their UWCL fixtures at the Allianz Arena, the 75,000-seater venue provides a state-of-the-art facility for both fans and supporters alike.

Getting to the Allianz Arena
The Allianz Arena is north of the city, and Munich’s transport is excellent with most routes funnelling through the same simple final step. Public transport is by far the most efficient way of getting to the stadium and avoids heavy road traffic.
Train from Munich Airport (MUC)
- Take S1 or S8 S-Bahn from the airport to the city (approx. 40 mins)
- Change at Marienplatz
- Get U6 (towards Garching-Forschungszentrum)
- Get off at Fröttmaning → walk to stadium
Train from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)
- Take U6 (direct) → Fröttmaning (approx. 25 mins)
OR
- S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then U6.
Train from Munich City Centre (Marienplatz)
- U6 → Fröttmaning (approx. 20 mins)
- Trains are frequent and busy with match going home supporters. The final and closest stop of Fröttmaning a steady 15-minute walk to the stadium.
Taxis and Ubers can also be booked – it is important for supporters to keep in mind that prices charged will be higher on matchday.

Stadium Regulations
- All food and drink, including alcohol, can be drank inside the stadium bowl of the Allianz Arena in view of the pitch.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the stadium.
- Only card payments are accepted at the Allianz Arena.
- The prohibited item list below outlines what supporters will be unable to bring into the Allianz Arena. Please take time to view all the items listed by the home team.

- Items that are allowed into the stadium include;
- Flags (if on poles these must be a maximum length of 150cm and made from plastic)
- Drums (must be open at the bottom and are only permitted in the away block)
- Flags not on poles (Maximum height of 100cm)
- Bags up to maximum size of A4
- Power banks (maximum weight 100grams)

- Manchester United supporters will be housed in block 246 which can be located on the North Entrance side of the Allianz Arena.
- Disabled supporters will use the same entrance as all other away fans for this fixture when entering the Allianz Arena.

Travel Advice
PASSPORT & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Please make sure your passport is valid for the duration of your stay. Germany follows Schengen area rules, which means your passport must:
• have a ‘date of issue’ less than 10 years before the date you arrive – if you renewed your passport before 1 October 2018, it may have a date of issue that is more than 10 years ago
• have an ‘expiry date’ at least three months after the day you plan to leave the Schengen area (the expiry date does not need to be wit
hin 10 years of the date of issue)

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all supporters have valid travel insurance for any European away trips. This should cover medical expenses, loss of belongings, and any unforeseen travel
disruptions. Always carry a copy of your insurance policy and emergency contact details.
Important: In the event your passport is lost or stolen, you’ll need to apply for an Emergency Travel Document through the British Embassy in Berlin (details below). Report the loss to local police and keep a copy of the report.

EMERGENCY SERVICES IN GERMANY
112 is Germanys emergency number for life-threatening emergencies. Call (+49) 112 to access police, ambulance and fire brigade services. For police, when it’s not an emergency, call (+49) 116 117.

CURRENCY
Currency used in Germany is the Euro (€) You can exchange currency in advance at airports, or at banks and exchange offices in Germany. Contactless and card payments are widely accepted, but it’s advisable to carry some cash for smaller transactions or emergencies.
ELECTRICAL DEVICES
Germany uses Type F (two pins) operating at 230V and 50Hz, featuring two round pins and two grounding clips. They are standard across Germany and compatible with Type C and Type E plugs. UK travellers require a Type G to Type F adapter.
