how to use our New Ticketing Website: Logging in & Creating relationships
We are aware there were some issues with creating relationships but this has now been rectified- we apologise for any inconvenience during this time.
Please watch our helpful video for guidance on creating relationships, or read the guide below.
Logging In
Sign-in to manutd.com has now been linked to the ticketing system, meaning you now no longer need to log in twice. You should have been sent an email advising what you need to do next, which is subject to your previous login details and status on both manutd.com and the ticketing platform. More information, and a step-by-step guide can be found in the section below.
We are aware that Season Ticket holders have created duplicate accounts, to ensure you are logged into your correct account, look at your name in the top right hand corner, and ensure your Season Ticket number is displayed next to your name. If this isn't, log out and log in using your Season Ticket number and password.
Setting Up Linked Accounts
Once you’re logged in, hover over your name at the top right of the screen and go to “General Info & Linked Accounts”. In the centre of the page you will see a section called “Linked Accounts”, where you can create links to friends and family that you wish to transact with.
Be careful to select the relevant level of link:
- A Strong Relationship will enable you to see booking history and account information as well as process transactions such as regrades on behalf of each other. It is therefore strongly recommended that you only create a “Strong Relationship” for family members, where you will need to pay for their renewals, or if you have concessionary tickets in your group where you will upgrade their tickets for matches
- A Standard Relationship is recommended for e.g. people you apply for away game tickets with
Set Your Preferences
You will automatically be opted-out of receiving any Marketing communication from us. So that you are always kept up to date, from the “General Info & Linked Account” page, underneath your address there are some options in red. Select “Preferences” and you will be redirected to the main manutd.com website. Go to “My Profile” and then “Preferences” to choose what you are opted in or out of – you can update your preferences at any time.

Everything you need to know about digital tickets
How do I download my ticket to my smart phone?
Open the email on your mobile device and click the red “Add to Smartphone” button. The next steps will vary depending on your device and operating system, but you should see your red digital Season Ticket on screen and there should be an option to “Add”. Pressing this will add the ticket to your mobile wallet.
Note: If you have an Android mobile, you will need to download the Google Pay app on to your device before being able to access your ticket. Visit the app store on your phone and download for free. If you have an Apple device, you will use your Apple Wallet.
I do not have a smart phone; how do I print my ticket?
If you do not have a smartphone, you have the option to use the Print at Home PDF to enter the stadium instead. You can reprint this document throughout the season if you need to.
If I choose to Print at Home, do I need to do this for every game?
You only need to print your Season Ticket once, however we do advise that if your printed ticket gets damaged to reprint this to prevent any issues with this scanning at the turnstile. If you print your ticket and you misplace this, you can just reprint this and it will work. There is no limited as to how many times you can do this. If you get a smartphone during the season, keep your email as you can add your ticket to your wallet at any time.
I don’t have a smart phone or printer, what do I do?
If you do not have a smart phone or a printer, we advise using a local printer service to print this off and then recommend laminating your ticket to ensure it does not get damaged, and to prevent you having to print it again. If you have accessibility requirements and are unable to access a printing service, please email accessibility@manutd.co.uk for assistance.
Can Print at Home tickets be laminated (will they work with scanners)?
Digital tickets can be laminated and will not have any impact on them scanning at the turnstiles. Laminating your tickets may actually help protect them from damage.
I have deleted the email containing my digital ticket
Once you have downloaded your digital ticket to your mobile wallet, you hopefully won’t need the email again. If you do need to access the email and are unable to locate it in your deleted items, please call us 0161 676 7770 for assistance, quoting your Membership Number.
Why do I need to provide ID when using a Print at Home ticket, and what is acceptable?
Print at home tickets could be printed and used without the ticket being officially transferred. We are now required to know who is in the stadium at any given time. Supporters who use digital tickets must have transferred these through our ticketing system, and therefore the registered holder is assumed to be in attendance.
Anyone using a Print at Home ticket will need to present photo ID upon entry to the stadium. Valid ID includes:
- A valid or expired Photocard Driving Licence
- A valid or expired passport
- Formal ID Cards (armed forces, police, student union, company ID card)
- Bus Pass
- For Under 16s, a valid or expired passport or birth certificate
How do I manage the ticket for my carer / personal assistant?
Your carer / personal assistant ticket also needs to be downloaded to your smartphone or printed. Alternatively, your carer / personal assistant can download this to their own phone. Both tickets will need to be scanned at the turnstile so please ensure you have both tickets ready ahead of arrival at the turnstile.
If I have booked tickets on behalf of others, how I get their tickets to them?
You can forward the email you have received, so they can download their own digital ticket or print their own print at home ticket. Alternatively you can download multiple tickets can scan them all from your device at the turnstile (allowing entry to a supporter after each scan).
Will I receive a separate digital ticket for cup games?
Yes- we will send digital tickets for each home cup game this season - access will not be added to digital Season Tickets.
I have downloaded an invalid or incorrect ticket, what do I do?
If you have an invalid ticket downloaded for whatever reason (for example a reissue or seat move), delete it from your mobile wallet. You can then retrieve the email with the correct ticket and download or print this. If you cannot locate the correct email, please call us on 0161 676 7770 or email tickets@manutd.co.uk where we will be able to help.
What if I lose my printed Season Ticket on the way to the game?
We recommend having your Season Ticket downloaded to your smart phone where possible, unfortunately, if you do not download your ticket to your digital wallet, and then lose your printed version, we will not be able to reissue this for you.
What if my battery dies or I am unable to access my digital ticket on my phone for any reason on arrival at the stadium?
It is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient phone battery before arriving at the stadium. We advise you make your own arrangements to prevent issues, such as portable chargers.
How will seasonal car parking work?
Is my car parking ticket digital too?
Your car parking ticket is also digital this season. This will work the same as your match ticket, meaning you can either download this to your smartphone, or use the Print at Home PDF to print your ticket instead. If you have purchased accessible parking, please ensure you bring your blue badge with you to present on arrival, to ensure you are allocated a suitable space.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND A MATCH and want to forward/upgrade my ticket?
Please see below a step by step guide on forwarding your ticket or changing your price type for an individual game
How do I forward / upgrade my ticket for a specific match?
If you are unable to attend a game, you can pass your ticket to a friend or family member, and concessionary ticket holders can also regrade their ticket to someone in a different age category. Our online functionality has now been improved, meaning fans can now forward and upgrade in a single transaction.
- Go to tickets.manutd.com and log in with your Membership number.
- Ensure you have already created links with supporters you want to forward tickets to – it will make the process easier.
- Hover over your name in the top right hand side of the screen and select ‘Tickets’ from the menu.
- You will then see all individual matches listed – select the game you wish to make a change in.
- Select ‘Forward / Upgrade Ticket’.
- Follow the steps to forward / upgrade your ticket to another supporter by selecting the owner and age category. Reminder: tickets cannot be downgraded, so Adults must select Adult.
A digital ticket will then be sent to the supporter attending. We strongly advise each person is an Official Member, as this will mean that they are individually responsible for the use of that match ticket.
What is the latest I can forward or upgrade my Season Ticket?
There is no deadline to do this, providing the ticket hasn't already been scanned at a game. As a reminder, you can only forward cup game tickets after you have received your digital ticket for the game.
How do I pass my ST on to friends or family?
You can pass your ticket to your friends or family by forwarding your ticket to them for a specific game online (see specific FAQ for more information). Please be aware that we will conduct random ticket checks so we recommend that the supporter you forward your ticket to is an Official Member to prevent you being held responsible for any misuse of tickets.
I am a disabled supporter, can I forward / regrade my ticket to a non-disabled supporter?
How will Manchester United prevent tickets from being touted?
The club take ticket touting very seriously and we have a dedicated team committed to preventing and managing ticket touting. Any supporters found to be misusing tickets will be sanctioned accordingly as per the Club Sanctions and we remind supporters to be aware of the Season Ticket terms and conditions. Ensuring that ticket holders use a digital ticket, transferred officially, or those using a printed ticket being asked to provide ID, will remove a number of issues experienced historically when tickets could be passed around.
How do I claim my rebate from 2019/20?
If you still have a balance on your account for your 2019/20 rebate, for the cost of the 4 games played behind closed doors. This balance will remain on your account for you to put towards any other products in the future. This can be used by ensuring you select to pay via "Converted Balance" on the payment page.
What if any games during the season are played with reduced capacity
As a reminder, in the event any matches are not played with a full crowd, we will issue a full refund for that game to anyone who are not entitled to attend due to any capacity restrictions.
SEASON TICKET SEAT MOVES
This year, we
implemented a new way of managing seat moves due to the high volume of requests
we get at the end of every season. With our new ticketing system allowing for a
more ‘self-serve’ approach, we released the available seats online, so
supporters could log in and move their own seat based on what was available.
This meant
supporters had full transparency over availability following the renewal
deadline, also making it easier to move with friends and family, and meant
supporters could manage this themselves without having to wait for long periods
of time on the phones.
Over 5,000
supporters have successfully relocated their own seat, and availability has now
sold out.
Wish to move seats?
No further seat moves are available now that we have commenced sales for match tickets in the 2021/22 season. Supporters who renew into the 2022/23 season will again be offered a 7 day window to change seats next year.
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
See below for other important useful information for Season Ticket holders.
I want a souvenir ticket, is this possible?
We are no longer able to issue paper match tickets, to be kept as souvenirs. As we have upgraded our turnstiles to facilitate digital ticketing, we no longer have any paper match tickets to print from.
How do I get my yearbook?
We no longer issue hard copies of the Yearbook, but a digital version has been sent by email.
