What time do I need to arrive for my tour and where should I go? You must arrive at the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand reception at least 20 minutes before your tour starts. We recommend you arrive 30-60 minutes before and have a look around the museum before your tour begins (if your tour is booked for 3pm or later, you must visit the museum first as it will be closed by the time your tour is finished). Upon arrival at the stadium your bags will need to be security checked and there may be queues at the reception, so the earlier you can arrive, the better. This is particularly recommended on days before and after home matchdays where we are busier than usual. What do I do when I have arrived? Collect your tickets and lanyards upon arrival at the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand reception desk and take lifts or escalators to the museum on level 3. Make your way through the museum, exploring each level as you make your way down to the stadium tour meeting point on level 1 of the museum, five minutes before the start of the tour to meet your tour guides. If you arrive late for your tour, you may NOT be able to be added on to your tour in the stadium.

How many levels is the museum spread over? The museum is spread over three levels. What can be found on each level of the museum? Level 3 (top floor) – Trophy room, Munich room, Special exhibit room, Youth/Academy, Early beginnings (Newton Heath). Level 2 (middle floor) – Kit history room, International section, Legends corridor, United overseas, Managers' room, Classrooms (education sessions for school groups). Level 1 (bottom floor) – History of the stadium, Story of the floodlights, Treble corridor and trophies, Stadium tour meeting point.

Can you tell me more about the stadium experience? The stadium tour provides visitors with a high-quality experience, where you will have access to stunning views of the stadium’s interior and locations which take you behind the scenes at Old Trafford. The route will visit areas such as: Sir Alex Ferguson Stand seating area, accessibility platform, players’ dressing room, players’ tunnel, pitchside (dug-outs), and press/media room. How long does the tour normally take? The tour duration is approximately 70 minutes. Please also be reminded that access to the museum is included in your booking. There are three levels to the museum and we recommend spending at least 20 minutes on each floor, approximately one hour in total. If your tour is booked for 3pm or later, you must visit the museum first as it will be closed by the time your tour is finished.

Where should I park? Free car parking is available on E2 car park. Please use postcode M16 0SZ for navigation. For more information on getting to Old Trafford, please visit manutd.com/gettinghere. Is there anywhere I can store belongings while on a tour? Locker facilities are available for small bags at Sir Alex Ferguson Stand reception (where you will arrive), and are free to use. Am I guaranteed to see everything advertised on the tour? As we are a working stadium, tours are subject to late changes or even cancellation depending on activity in the stadium or rearranged fixtures etc. For full terms and conditions please visit manutd.com/terms. Can I take photos and videos on my tour? You are very welcome to take as many pictures and short videos as you like in all areas except the press conference room. We ask that you don’t live stream, and are mindful of other visitors at all times. Is there food and drink available? The Red Café is situated next to the entrance to the museum and tour in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand and is open from 9am to 4pm daily. Do you have translations of the tour description? We don’t have direct translations for our tour guides, but we use multi-media guides to enhance our tours that will show a selection of videos operated by the tour guide. These are available in a wide selection of languages.

Can prams be taken in the museum and on the tour? Prams can be taken through the museum; however we recommend that usually they are not taken on the stadium tour due to the number of stairs on the route. The tour guides will show visitors where prams can be left before the start of the tour. If pram usage is essential while on the stadium tour, please contact museum.enquiries@manutd.co.uk where this can be arranged. I am a wheelchair user; is the tour route accessible? If you have any accessibility needs, please contact us at least 48 hours before attending on 0161 676 7770 or museum.enquiries@manutd.co.uk to discuss how we can best assist. Read more information on accessible facilities at Old Trafford. Our tour route has 177 steps. We have ‘flat route’ tours available for those guests who would prefer, which can be arranged through the contact details above. I am blind or partially sighted; can I get an audio guide of the tour? Our tour guides are able to take your party round the route privately, so you can get the fully immersive experience. To arrange this, please contact us in advance at museum.enquiries@manutd.co.uk. I am hearing impaired; how can I experience the stadium tour? One of our tour guides uses BSL at intermediate level, and if you let us know in advance at museum.enquiries@manutd.co.uk we will do our best to pair you up. We also have multi-media guides that are signed in BSL, so please us know when you arrive if you would like to use one.

What do I do if I have a special request? Please contact museum.enquiries@manutd.co.uk with any special requests. Examples include: birthday announcements, marriage proposals, personalised shirt to be hung up in the dressing room, memorial flower-laying pitchside, use of multi-media guides/BSL guides for visitors requiring translation or hearing aid.
