Tyrell Malacia established himself as a key player for Feyenoord before signing for United in the summer of 2022.

Malacia made 39 appearances in his debut campaign at Old Trafford while competing with Luke Shaw and, although he was an unused substitute during our Carabao Cup final success, he started four of the five games en route to the Wembley showpiece. Tyrell spent 2023/24 on the sidelines, due to a knee injury, but took part in the celebrations at Wembley as United lifted the FA Cup for the 13th time, following victory over rivals Manchester City. He returned to action in November 2024, playing eight times under Ruben Amorim before joining PSV Eindhoven on loan.
