Benjamin Sesko is a powerful, athletic striker who quickly rose to prominence after his 2025 move to Manchester United.
The towering Slovenian was an exciting acquisition from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, with a number of other top clubs on his trail. The Reds have been longstanding admirers but the centre-forward has taken a careful, methodical approach to his career, feeling the need to continue to prove himself, step by step.
It's a process that paid off, as Sesko announced himself to the English game with 12 goals in all competitions, joint-top for 2025/26 with Bryan Mbeumo, who joined in the same summer.
In February he earned his first United Player of the Month award – and the corresponding PFA Fans' Player of the Month award – after showing lethal impact from the bench in Michael Carrick's second month.
Only just turning 23 at the end of that opening campaign, the common consensus is that there's plenty more to come from the young striker.
