A tenacious and skilful central player, Gore first made an impression in our youth sides while still a schoolboy, when he scored a bullet header in a 2020/21 FA Youth Cup win over Salford City.
After progressing well through the Under-18s and Under-21s, with regular league appearances, Gore was part of the senior squad's mid-season training camp in Spain in December 2022. Having made a positive impression on manager Erik ten Hag, he was handed his debut nine months later against Palace, and followed it up with a first Premier League appearance, as a substitute in United's 3-2 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on 26 December 2023.
A loan spell at Port Vale in 2023/24 was curtailed by injury, and the same was true of a stint at Rotherham United in 2024/25, but Gore is now back at the League One club and playing regular football again as he continues his development and shows his quality.
