Jacob made five appearances for United's Under-21s in 2023/24 and played in 29 games of the Under-18s' successful campaign. None of his team-mates made more outings for Adam Lawrence's impressive side. Devaney has since captained our U21s side and represented United on several important occasions, including at the Munich Memorial service at Old Trafford in February 2025. He was ever-present in Premier League 2 up until January 2026, before agreeing a loan move to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
