Left-footed, Liverpool-born winger has represented England at youth levels.
Shea scored twice in 10 appearances for our Under-18s in 2023/24, as the Reds won the domestic title and Premier League Cup. He also appeared three times for the Under-21s. In 2024/25, he continued to develop with both sides, as well as training with the senior set-up on a couple of occasions, earning him a spot on the post-season tour to Asia. He played for the Reds there against Hong Kong, China, and will take that experience into the 2025/26 campaign. In October 2025, Lacey trained with England's senior set-up, while part of the Three Lions' Under-20s squad. He made his senior debut as a substitute during the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in December 2025, becoming the 256th different Academy graduate to represent our first team.
