A four-time Women's Champions League winner with a proven record of winning.
Melvine Malard began her career with Saint-Denis FC, on the French island of Reunion, and joined Lyon in 2014. Three years later, the forward signed her first professional contract at the club and during her six years as a full-time player she helped Lyon win four Champions Leagues and two Division 1 Feminine titles. Malard has also represented France on 21 occasions, having featured for her nation from Under-16s all the way through to senior football. On 15 September 2023, Melvine's loan move from Lyon to Manchester United was confirmed and she scored seven goals during her temporary spell. The deal was made permanent on 12 July 2024, after Malard had been part of our FA Cup winning squad. Her equaliser in the Manchester derby helped United confirm qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.
