Manchester United is delighted to announce that England Under-19 international Keira Barry has signed her first professional contract with the club.

Keira has been with Manchester United’s Academy since the age of 10 and was part of our Under-21 WSL Academy League and Cup-winning side in 2022.

Last season saw Keira make her first-team debut, when she came on as a second-half substitute, in United’s 4-0 League Cup victory over Sheffield United in December.

Keira Barry explains what it means to sign her first pro deal with United Women, having joined our Academy aged 10...

Keira Barry:

“I’m over the moon to sign professionally here and cannot wait to get going. Having come through United’s Academy, to now sign pro at this great club, is a really proud day for me and my family.”

Marc Skinner:

“We are delighted to see Keira sign professionally for Manchester United, as she becomes the 13th Academy graduate to sign for our women’s first team since we reformed in 2018, continuing the proud tradition of our youth pathway for both women and men at this great football club.”

Everyone at the club congratulates Keira and wishes her the best of luck for her professional career.
