VPN Error
What is a VPN?
VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. A VPN allows you to access the public internet via a secure and private network connection and can hide your IP address and protect your personal data. VPNs can also hide information about your geographical location while securing your digital data through encryption. VPNs can be used to access region-restricted websites, shield your browsing activity from prying eyes on public WiFi, and more.
Why can't I use a VPN to watch MUTV?
MUTV does not support streaming content through VPN or proxy connections as it can affect the quality of service. To watch MUTV, you must disable these services for your device or connect from a different IP address.
I turned off my VPN but I still cannot watch MUTV. What should I do?
This may be because your IP address is blocked. There are several ways to change your IP address. The easiest option is to move somewhere else and use a different network to access the internet. Switching to using mobile data (please be aware that data charges from your mobile provider may apply) from using a WiFi connection can also help to get a new IP address.
You might be able to get a new IP address by unplugging your internet modem, waiting a few minutes, then plugging it back in again. When this happens, you release your existing IP address so that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) can recycle it. When you reconnect, your ISP assigns you a new IP address.
