Revealed: United's Premier League fixtures

Wednesday 16 June 2021 09:00

Manchester United's 2021/22 Premier League fixtures have been announced, revealing the Reds will start the new campaign with a blockbuster game at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men will host Leeds United on the opening weekend of 14/15 August and if last season's meeting in M16 is any guide, it promises to be a thrilling start to the brand new term. The Reds won 6-2, as the Yorkshire club paid us a first visit in the league since 2004.

The only thing really missing from that game was a crowd and fans from both clubs will clearly be hoping they can be in the stands at Old Trafford this time around.

At the opposite end of the 38-match schedule, United will travel to Crystal Palace on the final day of the season, Sunday 22 May 2022, one week after hosting another London club, Chelsea, in what could be a significant last home game given the two clubs' recent record for both finishing in the top four.

We can confirm the penultimate round of Premier League fixtures will be played on Sunday 15 May 2022, but the United-Chelsea match would be moved if either team was involved in the Emirates FA Cup final on the previous day.

All dates listed below are, of course, provisional only and heavily subject to change for reasons including live television coverage in the UK. The broadcast selections for games in August and September are due to be announced in early July.
