Alex Telles earns recall
Alex Telles has been recalled to the Brazil squad ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The left-back, in contention to replace the suspended Luke Shaw in Saturday's Premier League clash at Aston Villa, has impressed under interim manager Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford.
He played against Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Newcastle United and has been on the bench for our past two league games.
The left-footer's last minutes for his country came in November 2020, when he was introduced as a late substitute in a 1-0 victory over Venezuela.
The Selecao have World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador on 27 January and Paraguay (1 February), only a few days before the Reds are in Emirates FA Cup action against Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.
