We felt the Manchester United starting XI against Luton Town was almost impossible to predict, given the number of expected changes, but Reds supporter Shane Hauck has proved us wrong.
The American impressively named every member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team for the Carabao Cup tie at Kenilworth Road to earn a massive score in our brand new United Predictions game.
That accurate starting XI gave him 95 points (five for each player) and he racked up another 10 for correctly guessing the 4-2-3-1 formation. Shane must have mystical powers because he also named Juan Mata as our first scorer and successfully identified Donny van de Beek as Man of the Match!
All that stopped Hauck from registering a perfect score was the match result: he went for 2-0 to United and, of course, that outcome was on… until Mason Greenwood made it 3-0 late on.
With a sensational score of 105 points, we can confirm Shane is the winner of United Predictions for Luton Town away and his prize is a signed first-team shirt.
