Confirmed: Carabao Cup fourth-round details
The club has confirmed when Manchester United's fourth-round Carabao Cup tie at Brighton & Hove Albion will take place.
The Reds secured qualification to the last 16 of the competition on Tuesday, with a 3-0 win at Luton Town, courtesy of goals from Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.
It was confirmed that we would face the Seagulls at the Amex - in a repeat of this Saturday's Premier League fixture - after Graham Potter's side saw off Preston North End 2-0 at Deepdale, less than a week after dispatching Portsmouth 4-0 in the second round.
And, after the culmination of the remaining third-round ties, we now know that our cup clash against the south-coast club will kick off at 19:45 BST on Wednesday 30 September.
The match, which will be our fourth of the 2020/21 season, is to be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports.
The winner will secure a place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, which are scheduled for the week commencing 21 December, after the competition takes a break to accommodate the group stages of the Champions League and Europa League.
United last won the competition in 2017 and Manchester City are the holders, having won each of the past three editions.
