Confirmed: Starting XI to face Liverpool

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made two changes to his Europa League side from last Thursday to face Liverpool at Old Trafford today in the Premier League.

The Reds thrashed Roma 6-2 last Thursday night at home with a wonderful second-half goal blitz with Edinson Cavani scoring twice against the Italians.

But the Uruguayan takes a place on the bench, with Mason Greenwood taking his place in attack.

Greenwood had come on against Roma at Old Trafford for the last 14 minutes in place of Marcus Rashford and scored our sixth goal in the memorable victory.

Dean Henderson has been Solskjaer’s goalkeeper in the Premier League for the last eight matches since the beginning of March and is named between the posts to face Jurgen Klopp’s side.

United’s XI is also virtually the same as the Reds line-up that drew at Elland Road last Sunday with Paul Pogba playing instead of Daniel James.

Liverpool manager Klopp has also made two changes to his side. The German has brought in Nat Phillips and James Milner for Georginio Wijnaldum and Diogo Jota from their starting XI that drew at Anfield last weekend 1-1 with Newcastle.
