Team news: United's XI to play Atletico
Ralf Rangnick has made three changes to his Manchester United side, for the UEFA Champions League round-of-16 first-leg clash with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Raphael Varane returns to the side in place of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as he returns to the Spanish capital following his summer transfer from Real Madrid.
It looks as though the Frenchman will partner Harry Maguire in defence, with Victor Lindelof moving out to right-back.
Fred, who came off the bench to score at Leeds on Sunday, lines up alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, with Scott McTominay not named among the 23.
Up front, Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo retain their places, but Jesse Lingard drops to the bench, as Marcus Rashford comes in for his England team-mate.
United: De Gea; Lindelof, Varane, Maguire (c), Shaw; Fred, Pogba, Fernandes; Rashford, Ronaldo, Sancho.
Subs: Heaton, Henderson, Bailly, Jones, Dalot, Telles, Wan-Bissaka, Mata, Lingard, Matic, Hannibal, Elanga.
