Confirmed: When United's new away kit will be worn
With the launch of Manchester United's 2023/24 away kit catching the eyes of fans across the globe, one question naturally crops up: when will our players wear it for the first time?
We can now confirm that our striking away jersey will be debuted at the Snapdragon Stadium on Wednesday (03:30 BST), when United take on a Wrexham side owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
The Welsh side, like us, have a red home shirt, so it is the perfect opportunity for the green-and-white stripes to be donned by our players for the very first time.
You can watch the match - and see our new kit in all its glory - live on MUTV.
The sold-out clash in San Diego is a highly anticipated one, due to Wrexham's promotion back to the Football League last term, and United's global following and superb support in the United States.
The 35,000-capacity arena will be jam-packed with eager supporters, who will be the first to see our adidas 2023/24 away kit worn in a match.
A youth-focused United side will take on the Red Dragons in the early UK kick-off, but the new shirt also be worn one day later, against Real Madrid in Houston.
Kick-off in that one is set for 01:30 BST, when you can see Erik ten Hag's side lock horns with the Spanish giants - this match is also being shown live on MUTV.
