What's Ronaldo's price in Fantasy Premier League?
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Fantasy Premier League price has been confirmed, after the forward’s sensational return to Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar already has a stellar record in England’s top flight, having scored 84 goals in 196 Premier League games during his first spell at Old Trafford, between 2003 and 2009.
Indeed, he was the player who amassed the highest tallies of fantasy points in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 editions of the popular game, with 244 and 283 respectively.
Ronaldo scored at a rate of more than one goal per game during nine years at Real Madrid and also became the quickest player to reach a century of strikes for Juventus.
Given he has such a brilliant track record, we imagine Fantasy Premier League managers will be frantically trying to accommodate Ronaldo in their teams, even if the international break means we are 11 days away from the next league fixture.
But some rejigging may need to be done if you don’t have any spare budget. That’s because Cristiano has been priced at £12.5m, the joint-highest in the game.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, the leading points scorer in 2017/18 and 2018/19, is also worth £12.5m.
Harry Kane, of Tottenham, is the next most expensive player, as it will set you back a cool £12.3m to include the England international in your team.
Bruno Fernandes is the only other player worth more than £12m, after he racked up an unequalled 244 points in 2020/21.
Ronaldo’s Portugal team-mate is the most selected man in this season’s game, with 55 per cent of managers opting to include our no.18 in their XI.
