The brand new United Predictions game in the Official App is proving immensely popular, with many thousands of fans taking part for the opening two matches of 2020/21 against Crystal Palace and Luton Town.

If you've not yet had a go, the premise is simple - you accrue points, and could win some fantastic prizes, for correctly predicting the score, starting line-up, first goalscorer and Man of the Match for United's next fixture.

Ahead of Saturday's away clash with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, we've compiled some statistics that could help you make your choices when you download the Official App and play United Predictions before entries close at 90 minutes to kick-off.

CORRECT SCORE

The first place to look for clues is last season's corresponding fixture, which was also played behind closed doors at the Amex Stadium, only three months ago. A brace from Bruno Fernandes, including a volley to round off a stunning counterattack, helped the Reds to win 3-0 with Mason Greenwood also on the scoresheet. It was third time lucky for United who had lost on our only two previous visits in the Premier League - 1-0 in 2017/18 and 3-2 in 2018/19.

You might also consider our general away form to be a helpful guide when it comes to predicting the scoreline. If so, here are our last five league results on the road:

Won 2-0 v Leicester City, 26 July
Won 2-0 v Crystal Palace, 16 July
Won 3-0 v Aston Villa, 9 July
Won 3-0 v Brighton, 30 June
Drew 1-1 v Tottenham, 19 June
