David De Gea moved up a place in Manchester United’s all-time appearances table on Wednesday night, after his stellar performance in the 3-1 Premier League win over Brentford.
De Gea has now made 468 United appearances and his latest outing moved him one clear of our legendary former striker Mark Hughes, into 15th place on a list of bona fide Old Trafford icons.

There is a very good chance that De Gea will move into 11th place by the end of this season, too, with Roy Keane (480) and Arthur Albiston (485) both within reach.
