Will you be at Old Trafford on Saturday?

Our Premier League fixture against West Ham United at Old Trafford is fast approaching. Here are some important things to know if you are coming to Saturday's game...

COVID CERTIFICATION STILL REQUIRED

Despite the recent Government announcement regarding the relaxation of COVID-19 policies, the Plan B measures introduced before Christmas will still be in place on Saturday. That means fans must be able to present, when requested, a valid COVID pass showing proof of double vaccination, or proof of a negative test result taken within 48 hours and reported through the NHS website.

Further details and answers to frequently asked questions can be found here. These requirements, together with other Plan B measures, are due to be lifted on 26 January – but until then they remain fully in place, and anyone unable to present a valid form of COVID certification when requested will be refused admission to Saturday’s game. We thank fans for their co-operation.

PARK LEGALLY AND SAFELY

Fans are reminded to only leave their vehicles in legal car parks and parking spaces – or risk fines. Trafford Council and Greater Manchester Police this week announced a clampdown on illegal parking around Old Trafford on matchdays after complaints from fans and community members about cars being left on verges, pavements, roundabouts and other unauthorised locations.

Over the Christmas period, the Council and GMP issued 779 penalty charge notices to vehicles parked illegally.

Trafford Councillor Steve Adshead, Executive Member for Environmental and Regulatory Services, said: “The vast majority of fans who drive to the game park sensibly and legally. But we will crack down on those who park illegally without consideration for the safety of others.”

More information on options for getting to Old Trafford, including public transport and official club car-parks, can be found here.

RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS

As you are arriving at or leaving the stadium, please be considerate to our neighbours in Trafford. Please dispose of your waste in the recycling bins located around the stadium before and after the game.

Should you require use of a toilet outside of the stadium, Portakabin toilets are available in the car-park opposite the East Stand and also adjacent to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

REPORT DISCRIMINATORY ABUSE

We are committed to the fight against racism and other forms of discrimination through our ‘All Red All Equal’ campaign, and we urge fans to challenge and report discriminatory behaviour wherever they see or hear it.

For any incidents inside the stadium, fans should report immediately to the nearest steward or send a message to the 'Virtual Steward' text service on 84222 – be sure to include the stand, row and seat number of the offender and the nature of the problem.

Meanwhile the club’s reporting tool, manutd.com/seered, can be used to report any instances of discrimination online. We thank fans for their co-operation on all the above issues to make Saturday’s game an enjoyable experience for everyone in and around Old Trafford.

Enjoy the game.
