Major absentee from Real Sociedad's squad

Real Sociedad have confirmed their squad for tonight's Europa League tie at Manchester United, which kicks off at 20:00 GMT.

The Basque visitors have included former Red Adnan Januzaj after he started the first leg but was a substitute for the 4-0 win over Alaves in La Liga at the weekend.

However, there is one glaring omission as David Silva will not be featuring at Old Trafford.

The ex-Manchester City favourite played the entirety of the first leg, which ended in a 4-0 victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Reds, but has been rested for the conclusion of the round-of-32 tie.

La Real are in fifth spot in La Liga and will be hoping for a strong end to the season in a bid to reach the 2021/22 Champions League.

Swedish striker Alexander Isak, who hit a hat-trick against Alaves, and former Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal are in the squad.

There is no Robin Le Normand, as the defender is suspended after receiving a yellow card in the first leg. Fellow centre-back Aritz Elustondo, who was injured in the warm-up in Turin, is another absentee.

United will look to finish the job to clinch a place in Friday's midday draw but Ole has already ruled out Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani.
