Dalot's 100 games for United: Ten top moments
Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot marked his 100th appearance for the club with a goal during Sunday’s 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest.
The full-back burst beyond the Forest defensive line to receive an incisive pass from Antony before finishing beyond Keylor Navas, to cap a milestone day with his third goal for the club.
While Diogo and co are now very much focused on what comes next, Thursday’s away match against Sevilla, our no.20 did take a moment to sit down earlier this week and reflect on his United career so far.

“I just remember we were going to the game and talking about the pitch, it was difficult to play [on]. But we did quite well and I just remember the stand behind that goal was full of fans. So, it was a special, special moment. I have the shirt in a frame so it will always be remembered.”

“It was strange when the draw came out and we had to play United, especially coming back to Old Trafford and I had to warm up on the other side. Being in another dressing room was strange. I knew straight away it was going to be a difficult game but at the time, I wanted to win [with Milan].”

“My two Portuguese fellas. Great players, it was a pleasure to play with Cristiano, with Bruno I still have the opportunity to play. So, it’s always a pleasure and it’s even more special when you play with players who play for your country as well.”

“A good goal, a good header. My first of the season for the club. Actually, it’s funny because I was there just to block players and when I tried to do the block, I just felt that the guy I was trying to block was completely out of the play and then I saw the ball coming to me and just tried to head it into the goal. My first goal with my head probably for a while so it was good.”

“Celebrating with the fans is always special [in] away games. A good goal, a good picture as well. For those who like football, I think it was a brilliant goal. Not just the pass from Antony, but the play from the beginning, the switches we had from everyone, playing one, two touches, quick. And then I think Antony did 90 per cent of the job with that pass and then I just have to give two quick touches and take it off Navas’s hands. He was saving everything and I’m happy that he couldn’t save mine.”
