Martinez among the substitutes for Brentford game

Saturday 30 March 2024 19:00

Erik ten Hag has named an unchanged team for Manchester United's Premier League away game at Brentford.

The Reds beat arch-rivals Liverpool 4-3 in the Emirates FA Cup in our most recent fixture, prior to the spring international break.

And with that epic success still fresh in the mind, the boss has opted to name exactly the same XI for our trip to the Gtech Community Stadium.

However, there is some notable news on the substitutes bench, where Lisandro Martinez is part of the matchday squad for the first time in almost two months.

Casemiro is also fit to take a place on the bench, after missing the Liverpool cup tie, while Harry Maguire is another returnee, despite picking up a knock during England's 1-0 defeat to Brazil seven days ago.

Mason Mount is another of the substitutes, after a 15-minute cameo in extra-time of that incredible Liverpool win – his first appearance since November.
